
HEATHER CAMPAGNA
Director, National Good Grief Camp
Heather Campagna presently serves as the TAPS National Youth Programs Director and the National Good Grief Camp Director for TAPS. She assists families as a whole as well as children who have lost a loved one in the military and serves as a group facilitator for those children and teens that have lost a loved one in the military at the various regional Good Grief Camps throughout the country.
Heather is a School Psychologist by training and obtained her Education Specialist and Masters Degrees in School Psychology from The Citadel. She is also a Fellow in Thanatology through the Association of Death, Education and Counseling (ADEC). She has worked in the school settings with preschool children to teaching college level students. She has also worked in the clinical setting with children of all ages at the Medical University of South Carolina. Heather has assisted the South Carolina National Guard Family Programs with briefings for children, schools, parents, and professionals during all phases of deployment. Heather’s husband presently serves full-time in the South Carolina National Guard as an Apache Pilot and is currently deployed.
