TAPS and Parsons Team Up for the 14th Annual TAPS Golf Outing

ARLINGTON, Va. – The Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors (TAPS) is honored to once again partner with Parsons Corporation (NYSE: PSN) on the 14th Annual TAPS Golf Outing at Mountain Branch Golf Course, in Joppa, Md., on September 9 at 9:00 a.m. The event began in 2007 and has raised more than $942,120 to support the families of U.S. fallen military servicemen and women.
“Through 14 years of partnership, our mission of supporting grieving military families has turned into a national movement focused on compassion, connection, and reflection on the sacrifices – both at home and abroad – of our fallen heroes whose impact and loss is felt throughout our society,” said Bonnie Carroll, TAPS President and Founder and 2015 Presidential Medal of Freedom recipient. “The amplification of our commitment to those grieving families is strengthened through value-focused organizations like Parsons, who work to support our nation’s veteran community daily.
TAPS is the national organization providing compassionate care for the families of America’s fallen military heroes. Services are provided free of charge. The organization offers support to more than 100,000 surviving family members of our fallen military and their caregivers since 1994.

- Erin and Lizzy Yaggy, surviving wife and daughter of Marine Corps Maj. David Yaggy, who died on March 14, 2008 with another Marine on a routine training flight in Alabama. The two Marines were members of Squadron VT-6 at Whiting Field, Milton, FL. Maj. Yaggy served two tours in Iraq and one in Afghanistan before reporting to NAS Whiting Field in Pensacola, Fla., as a flight instructor.
