Uber Donates Free Rides to Arlington National Cemetery to TAPS Families

ARLINGTON, Va. - Today, Uber began a yearlong campaign to offer free rides to Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors (TAPS) families and survivors to visit Arlington National Cemetery.

"Whether traveling from near or far to visit Arlington National Cemetery, it's an honor to stand among our heroes and remember the lives they lived and the service they gave," said Bonnie Carroll, TAPS President and Founder. "Thanks to the generosity of our friends at Uber, making the journey will be a little bit easier."

TAPS families will be given a promotion code from Uber good for four one-way rides, or two round trips to Arlington National Cemetery from anywhere in the DMV area. Each rider can use the code for up to $20 off a ride. The donation will run through Aug. 8, 2017.
