The TAPS Celebrity Golf Classic is now in its fifth year as a major Colorado fundraising event to benefit TAPS (Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors). This year’s event promises to be even bigger and better, and we are thrilled to announce that the legendary Larry Gatlin and the Gatlin Brothers will be our new Celebrity Hosts and welcome them to our team!
This is not an ordinary golf tournament! What makes it unique is that two evenings of exceptional entertainment, starring our hosts Larry Gatlin and the Gatlin Brothers, are also included. The TAPS Celebrity Classic not only gives golfers an opportunity to compete, but also to be entertained by the best and mingle with celebrities at our two “talk of the town” shows. Previous participants have given this event rave reviews, many saying it was the best tournament they had ever attended!
If you are not a golfer, we also provide an opportunity for you to attend just our Dinner Shows and to sponsor TAPS Families or Military Personnel and their guests to attend the shows. Sponsorships of one of our four Military Golf Teams or the two evening events are also available.
TAPS Celebrity Classic dates are June 18-19, so mark your calendars! This will include a Friday Night Songwriter's Show, Auction and Dinner and a Saturday Night Concert, Dinner and Auction. Golf will be played Saturday at the spectacular Arrowhead Golf Club, considered among the most beautiful and prestigious in Colorado.
All proceeds from the 2010 Gatlin Brothers TAPS Celebrity Classic will help to underwrite the costs of TAPS’ regional Survivor Seminar and Good Grief Camp for Children at Fort Carson, Colorado and at other bases around the country.
