A warm welcome is extended to you! The TAPS Online Community is open to all who are grieving the death of a member of our Armed Forces. The Online Community is a safe, comfortable place to remember our loved ones, honor their lives and share our journey through grief. Through our forums and chat rooms, TAPS provides a link with survivors from around the globe who offer shared experiences, understanding, support and hugs!
We extend a special invitation to you to register for our chat discussions, forums and other programs. Caregivers, chaplains, family support personnel, as well as members of the general public who are interested in supporting our mission are also invited to participate.
By joining our Online Community, you receive updates on TAPS activities, special events, newsletters, access to resources and information on how you can receive support and become involved. If you have experienced the loss of someone special, who served in our Armed Forces, the TAPS Online Community is here for you!
How it Works: 2 Easy Steps
- Sign up for the TAPS' Online Community! Fill out the short registration form and create a log in, chat name, and a password. You will receive a confirmation email with directions for signing in for the chat.
- Sign-in to join TAPS' Online Community use your username and password to log into the chat. Once logged in you will see the chat in progress and can begin to participate immediately.
The caring support we offer here is not intended as a substitute for medical advice or treatment provided by a medical professional or clinical counselor. Any information pertaining to your health should be reviewed with your physician. Also, nothing beats real hugs! Services like our TAPS Online Community should be used along with your family and friends to form a strong support system for you. A note about our privacy - it's important to us, and ask that you not lurk or attempt to interview group members for research or other purposes. Our moderators will ask you to leave. We also appreciate your respect and understanding of everyone's differing views on religion, politics, and we ask that you keep all conversations as positive and helpful as possible. We are here to honor our loved ones and remember the lives they lived, regardless of the circumstances or geography of their deaths.
