LOCAL CARE AND SUPPORT

TAPS is always there to provide care and support, but we also recognize that sometimes hugs need to come from close by.....neighbors and members of your local community.

TAPS can provide you with a directory of bereavement and trauma resources and support groups in your local area. From information provided by you, we can provide a customized listing of groups and resources which you can then review, research and make a decision to participate at your convenience.

Through this directory you can find, in addition to the services provided by TAPS, support close to home. We are honored to link you with your neighbors!

TAPS Seminars
TAPS Event | TAPS Survivor Seminars are inspirational weekends of support, care and hope. You will make connections with those who have suffered a similar loss through our group discussions. Workshops and activities will help you develop coping skills, life skills and ways to honor your loved ones.

What to Expect at a Seminar

What to Expect at a Seminar
By Dr. Carla Stumpf-Patton, Surviving Spouse of Marine Sgt. Richard Stumpf

TAPS Magazine | In our grief, it can be difficult to imagine traveling to an event along with other bereaved survivors, many of whom are strangers, where the focus is on addressing our innermost pain in hopes of healing. And, yet, that is what happens when attending a TAPS Survivor Seminar.
