Ms. Carroll is the President and Founder of the Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors (TAPS), the national Veterans Service Organization providing front line comfort and care for all those grieving the death of a loved one serving in the armed forces.

Give an Hour is a nonprofit organization providing free mental health services to U.S. military personnel and families affected by the current conflicts in Iraq and Afghanistan.
