We are thrilled to announce two upcoming opportunities in Chicago for TAPS basketball fans! In partnership with the NBA and USA Basketball, TAPS survivors will be able to see the Men's National Team before they head to the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio!
Survivors, Mentor and Volunteers are invited to watch the USA Men's Senior National Team practice before their first game against 2015 FIBA Americas gold medalist Venezuela.

TAPS kids have a unique opportunity to participate as Anthem Buddies and Ball Kids for the game!
When: Friday, July 29, 2016 8:00-10:00 PM
Where: United Center
Please note: children must be between the ages of 6-14 to be an Anthem Buddy and ages 10-14 to be a Ball Kid. (Due to the nature of the event, there are a limited number of spots).
If you are interested in attending the events in Chicago, please RSVP by emailing teams4taps@taps.org by Friday, June 24. Please include "Chicago Basketball" in the subject line, tell us which event (practice or game) you're interested in and include the names of all those attending and the ages of any children attending. Also, if you have a special connection to USA Basketball, our national teams or their players, we'd love to hear it!
You do not have to live near Chicago to attend, but please be aware that you will be responsible for all transportation and accommodations for the event. teams4taps will provide the tickets to the practice or game. If you are not local, TAPS will require proof of travel documents before confirming your attendance.
