Partner Webinar: Managing Conflict/Finding Meaning - Supporting Families at Life's End
Cohosted by the Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors and the Hospice Foundation of America
Despite the efforts of hospice professionals and clinicians, many people die after being enrolled in hospice for a very short time--sometimes just 24 to 48 hours. Yet bereavement coordinators still strive to help that person's family find meaning after the death. In fact, some of these families may need even more intense grief support, because the death may have been sudden or unexpected.
HFA's Living With Grief® program, Managing Conflict/Finding Meaning - Supporting Families at Life's End, will address this and other challenging situations faced every day by hospice professionals. The program will look at tangible strategies that can be used to facilitate growth after grief, particularly after deaths that may have been sudden, difficult (due to pain or symptom issues), or in family situations riddled with conflict.
