Kim Ruocco of TAPS will focus on suicide and military deaths, and the impact of these types of deaths on bereavement.
Wanda Henry-Jenkins will discuss other traumatic losses , such as homicide. She will also discuss how hospices can serve as a community resource even in sudden loss. Both speakers will share specific interventive techniques that professionals can utilize when supporting survivors.
