Na Koa Wounded Warrior Canoe Regatta

Join TAPS as we honor America’s fallen heroes on the shores of Waikiki at the Hawaii Chapter AUSA Na Koa Wounded Warrior Canoe Regatta.

TAPS will be sponsoring a team of paddlers for this event. All survivors, including extended Ohana (family) and battle buddies are welcome to join the team. Keiki (children) must be at least 7 years old to paddle, however, younger children will be able to enjoy the regatta on the shore with their family.

Register by Saturday, June 10, to join our team.

SKILL LEVEL

No prior experience is necessary to participate in this event, though a love of the ocean is important. If you plan to fly into Oahu from the mainland, we will offer practice time in the days prior to the event.

EVENT FEES

There is no fee to register for this event. TAPS will provide a TAPS T-shirt and hat for each registered participant at no cost to you. We will also provide photo buttons our of fallen heroes that you can wear on your shirt. Please include the name and a photo of the loved one you are paddling in honor of in your registration.

You will need to cover the cost of your transportation to and from Waikiki. The closest airport is the Honolulu International Airport (HNL). You will also need to cover the cost of your lodging.
