TAPS is partnering with the Arizona State University Sun Devils Football Program for a unique opportunity to honor and recognize fallen service men and women. Please take a moment to read about this event honoring our fallen heroes.
Arizona State University will honor the memory of our service men and women during their Salute to Service Game on Saturday, November 4, 2017. The program will pay tribute to the men and women with a connection to the State of Arizona, Tempe/Phoenix area or the Sun Devils who died while serving in the armed forces, or who died from injuries sustained while serving, in the post 9/11 era. Families of the fallen will be recognized during pre-game or in-game ceremonies.
We are grateful to our friends at Arizona State University for this opportunity to honor and recognize our loved ones. If your family is interested in participating in this event, please fill out the event application: ASU Salute to Service Event Application.
Twelve (12) families with up to four (4) representatives each will be honored during this event. Please note, completion of the form does not guarantee tickets. If there are more than 12 families interested in this program, there will be a random selection, which means that some families will not be selected. Confirmations will be sent out before the end of September.
If your family does participate in the event, you will need to provide a high resolution photo and short bio of your loved one. This information will be shared with media and ASU fans via social media, the ASU Athletics Website and during the game to educate fans on our fallen heroes and this military recognition program.
For the twelve (12) selected families, the Arizona State Sun Devils will provide each family with four (4) tickets along with pre-game VIP opportunities. Families will need to arrange their own travel and hotel accommodations, if needed.
If you have any questions, please contact TAPS at 800-959-8277 or email teams4taps@taps.org.
We are grateful to our friends at Arizona State University for creating this special opportunity for our families to be able to honor and recognize their loved ones.
