Field of Dreams Experience with the New York Yankees

As part of the TAPS Field of Dreams Experience, 20 young survivors, ages 6 to 13, will be paired with a Yankees starting player to take the field for the national anthem prior to the game. Kids will then join their families in the stands and watch the ball game as guests of the team.

teams4taps is looking for surviving children who live near New York City as well as surviving children from across the country who have a connection to the Yankees.

We are asking each applicant to submit a story about your child's, family's or loved one's connection to the Yankees. TAPS is honored to partner with the Yankees to provide this experience for children grieving the loss of a parent, sibling or immediate family member in the Armed Forces. Those younger than 6 or older than 13 will not be eligible to participate on the field. From our completed applications, a random selection will be used to select the TAPS families who will participate in the event. Priority will be given to those who have not previously attended a Yankees event with teams4taps.

Application Process
