The Robert Irvine Foundation Presents TAPS Las Vegas Survivor Experience

In partnership with the Robert Irvine Foundation, TAPS survivors will be hosted for 4 days, 3 nights of VIP experiences in the City of Lights! Survivors will come together for rich and colorful moments while exploring Las Vegas including visiting the NFL’s Raiders, taking in a show at the Tropicana. The highlight of the trip will be preparing dishes and cooking with Chef Irvine followed by a TAPS Family Dinner hosted at Robert Irvine’s Public House. Families will also have time to spend with each other as we remember our fallen heroes and celebrate their life and service.
LODGING AND TRANSPORTATION
Flights and event transportation will be sponsored by the Foundation, as well as providing group activities and all group meals. TAPS survivors will stay at the exciting Tropicana Las Vegas on the Las Vegas Strip, thanks to their generous hotel partner, Tropicana Las Vegas. Attendees will be responsible for any incidentals such as baggage fees, snacks, etc.

Although TAPS would love for all TAPS survivors to attend, we have a very limited number of spots available. For this reason, this unique adventure will be filled using a random selection process. Please note the following eligibility rules to make sure this is the event for you:
- Survivor Experiences, like the one presented by the Robert Irvine Foundation, are intended for those survivors whose loss occurred more than a year ago and who have attended previous TAPS Events. If you are within the first year of your loss, we encourage you to attend a TAPS Retreat, TAPS Regional Seminar, and/or the National Military Survivor Seminar.
- Families will be allowed a maximum of five (5) participants per Fallen Hero, for all activities. At least one participant in each family must be 18 years or older; any survivor under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian or a surviving adult family member with permission from their parent/guardian. All participants must be 16 years of age or older.
- Those who have attended a trip or event via TAPS where flights and lodging have both been provided (not including National or Regional Seminars) in the last three years are not eligible to attend.
We are asking those interested in attending this event to complete the online form, which will open on May 3 at 12:00 a.m. and close on May 7 at 11:59 p.m. Eastern OR once 250 entries have been submitted, whichever comes first. In the entry form, survivors will be asked to share their fallen hero’s favorite family recipe or a special connection to cooking, recipes or Chef Irvine himself!
Notifications will be sent the week of June 3.
