Week 3: Let the Games Begin!
At our TAPS Good Grief and Family Camp at Home you will have a chance to experience the wonderful activities we perform at our campouts, to get connected with your family through challenges, and to engage with others by sharing your challenge experience on social media, and coming together for a live Zoom chat and activity with your TAPS family!
Drawing inspiration from the variety of games, we have created fun ways to honor olympic sports, competitive sports, board games, card games, any kind of games! Let your imagination roam free when completing the family challenge, or get competitive in a cookoff, but most of all have fun with all the types of games to play!

Activity Booklet
We know this summer can get very busy with computer assignments or dance classes, or connecting with relatives who live far away. So we created this booklet filled with fun activities that anyone can do and from anywhere. Maybe outside under the shade of a tree, or in your room during a raining day. We know you will have fun with this activity booklet, from the crossword puzzle to the additional recipes and challenges, it is something the whole family can enjoy!
Family Challenge
Family Olympics
To enjoy this challenge, you can engage in intellectual olympics by playing any board game, trivia and card game at home or outside. If you are excited about the idea of a physical challenge, try building an obstacle course in your yard, create circuit exercise activity stations or run a three legged race!
If there is a playground or open field nearby, both could provide great spaces to host family games, allow your creativity to flow, your fun to be endless and Let the Games Begin!
Fulfill this challenge by taking and submitting photos of your family during your Olympic style activities. Wearing TAPS swag and bringing your Flat Mentor is highly encouraged!

Zoom Chat
This session will be on Thursday at 7:00 - 7:45 p.m. Eastern time zone. Zoom link will be emailed to those registered for camp.
This week, our Zoom chat is a TAPS Family Connects. Get ready to discuss what's been going on by answering the question, "What's Bingo-ing On?" and joining us for a lighthearted yet insightful session that will help you learn more about what's going on in your heart and in your home. An introduction and discussion will lead into games of feelings bingo - all you need is paper, something to write with, and some things to mark your squares (we suggest jelly beans, M&Ms, almonds, marshmallows, squares of paper, etc.), some curiosity, and your sense of adventure.
