Grief impacts us mentally, physically, emotionally, spiritually, and socially – really all parts of our life are touched by our grief. Stress is one of the ways that grief can manifest in our lives, impacting our relationships, ability to function at work and with friends, and a sense of motivation in daily life activities. We will look at how stress impacts our physical and mental health and ideas for managing stress while grieving. We will discuss techniques for self-regulation, recognizing stress reactions in our bodies, and ways we can experience our grief while also connecting with meaningful experiences in our daily lives.
