TAPS College Experience for Teens and Parents
The TAPS College Experience for Teens and Parents is for surviving children and their Parent/Guardian who are rising sophomores and juniors in high school. The program in Washington D.C. will be an introduction to higher education and include workshops on finding the perfect-for-you program, the application process, and funding your future goals.
This program will offer guidance on college choice, sharing your story, funding your future dream, campus resources, the application process, and networking. Parents/Guardians and children will attend all the sessions together.
FEES
Thanks to the generosity of the Johnny Mac Soldiers Fund, TAPS is able to provide lodging, meals, activities and supplies for all attendees. TAPS Education Support Services staff will be in contact after applicants have been approved and registered.
LODGING AND TRANSPORTATION
Lodging will be provided in Arlington, Virginia for all attendees dependent on whether selected for either session. TAPS covers the cost of lodging.
Attendees will need to cover the cost of transportation to and from the event. Please do not make travel arrangements until you are contacted after registering.
