TAPS Togethers: Great American Cleanup at Petit Jean State Park, Morrilton
This event is open to all TAPS survivors, both adults and children, who have experienced a military or veteran loss.
Join your TAPS family for a day of service at the Great American Cleanup at Petit Jean State Park.

Location: Morrilton, Arkansas 72110
Registration is required: Once you receive your registration confirmation, you will receive additional details for this event.
Parking: Free parking is available at the Visitor Center.
Upon Arrival: Please plan to register with the State Park before meeting up with other TAPS families and further deciding on the area that the TAPS families would like to cleanup together.
Attire: We encourage you to wear any TAPS attire you may have and/or a photo button of your loved one as this will allow you to more easily locate one another at the event.
Day Schedule: Stop by the visitor center between 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. to register and pick an area to cleanup. Limited supplies available. Come back to the visitor center by 2 p.m. to report your cleanup and drop off your bags of litter. The cleanup is self-serve and at your own pace.
What to Bring: Be sure to bring drinking water, sunscreen, bug spray, and wear close-toed shoes. Please pack a lunch if you plan to stay for the duration of the cleanup.
Cost: This event is free and open to the public. TAPS families may not be the only participants.
Notes: While we are promoting this community event, it is not directly organized or hosted by TAPS. Therefore, TAPS will not have a host at the event. This is simply an opportunity for our survivors to meet up, connect and build community within their local areas.
