TAPS Young Adults Lake Placid Olympic Experience
The TAPS Young Adults Experience offers one-of-a-kind opportunities across the country to TAPS Survivors ages 18-30. These experiences promote care, peer connection and personal well-being. In building a Community of peers, we offer survivors a safe space to be themselves, have fun, and focus on well-being and personal development.
OVERVIEW
The TAPS Young Adults Lake Placid Olympic Experience is offered to our Survivors ages 18-30, March 26-30, 2025. Participants will join us in beautiful Lake Placid, New York at Wildwood on the Lake and the Lake Placid Olympic Training Center as we lean into our program theme of Discovering the Possibilities. Survivors will participate in this incredible program partnering with Olympic Coaches and Athletes as they are guided through activities such as bobsleding, curling, biathlon, skating, "ice house starts" and more. Programming will lean into discussions and opportunities for building peer connections & community, stepping outside one's comfort zone and discovering new possibilities as we learn to live after loss.
