The Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors (TAPS) International invites delegates to attend the Global Summit for Organizations Supporting Military Deceased at a two day conference, November 7 to 8, during the last two days of the Geneva Peace Week. The Summit will be held at Maison de la Paix - Petal 4 - GCSP Conference Room 1 (4th Floor) in Geneva, Switzerland.
The International Working Group is an important worldwide gathering providing training for those supporting the traumatically bereaved, address transgenerational trauma, and share cultural traditions in honoring military sacrifice. TAPS International will be leading a panel discussion titled "Turning War Grief Into Positive Peace" on November 6 at 1 p.m.
Attendees at the International Working Group agree to acknowledge the universality of grief, our respect for all who have served and died, and our dedication to peace. At this conference, we will honor our fallen heroes, our military deceased, and our martyrs and we will raise our voices as one global community.
Delegations are limited to two official delegates per organization who will participate in proceedings, with unlimited additional guests from representative organizations welcome.
Registration to attend this summit is now open. Select the Register Now button at the tops of this page. For more information, please write to us at global@taps.org. More information can also be found under the delegation sign up section.
