Germany Widows Gathering

You are warmly invited to join TAPS for a special retreat for all those grieving the loss of a spouse or significant others who served in the Armed Forces.

Travel to Germany with fellow surviving widows, fiancees and significant others. Together, we'll take in the beauty of Germany and honor our loved ones with new experiences. Through physical activity and quiet moments of reflection, we'll find strength to move toward hope and healing.

RETREAT FEES

Thanks to the generosity of our donors and sponsors, TAPS will provide lodging, most meals and all activities at no cost to you. A $250 non-refundable deposit will be collected at the time of registration to hold your spot and help defray costs.

LODGING AND TRANSPORTATION

Lodging will be provided for all attendees from Wednesday to Tuesday. You will share a room with another retreat attendee. TAPS covers the cost of lodging at no cost to you, and we'll take care of booking your lodging for the retreat. 

You'll need to cover the cost of your transportation to and from Germany. Please DO NOT book your flight until you receive a welcome email after registering. Passports are required for this event.

ADVENTURE LEVEL

This retreat is rated as a challenging adventure. These are our most physically demanding retreats. Activities will challenge you and may involve heavy physical exertion and demanding environments.

Activities during this retreat will include hiking, canyoning, and other outdoor summer activities. There will also be plenty of time to relax and connect with fellow survivors.

This event is intended for those survivors whose loss occurred more than two years ago. If you are within the first two years of your loss, we encourage you to attend a traditional TAPS Retreat, TAPS Regional Seminar and/or the National Military Survivor Seminar.
