TAPS International is a global coalition of military survivor peer-based programs designed to strengthen relationships with our counterparts in countries that have peer-based programs, government survivor programs or an interest in creating such programs. TAPS provides humanitarian support and bridges the culture divide through the common language of grief and love, hope and healing.
By sharing best practices in peer-based emotional support programs we bring together the surviving families and leadership of coalition partners into an international network of support and give surviving families a voice in creating stable societies.
Bonnie Carroll recently traveled to the Ukraine for a seven day trip to help the war-torn country establish a program of its own.
"It's an opportunity for us to bring the world a little closer together,” she said. “If families who have sacrificed in the cause of freedom can come together, how powerful is that?"
