TAPS 7-Night Self-Funded Alaska Cruise
All survivors and their guests are invited to join us on our TAPS 7-Night Self-funded Alaska Cruise.
Set sail with your TAPS family. This self-funded cruise will be a chance to relax, heal and create lasting friendships with fellow survivors.
OVERVIEW
This seven-night trip cruise to sights in Alaska and to Victoria, British Columbia aboard the Royal Caribbean's Quantum of the Seas.
Check out photos from a 2022 TAPS cruise to see what a trip is like.
THE SHIP
Snag a front row seat to towering glaciers and snow-capped peaks onboard Quantum of the Seas®. From the North Star®, the tallest viewing deck on a cruise ship to the RipCord® by iFLY® skydiving simulator and the robotic bartenders of the Bionic Bar®, this adventure packed ship has endless ways to fill your days between scenery scoping and wilderness wandering across spectacular shores like Juneau and Sitka.
TAPS ON BOARD
We know that healing is found when surrounded by peers who understand. While on board, TAPS will have a variety of programs and activities available for you based on relationship or loss, and we'll gather as a group each evening for a TAPS family dinner. We'll also have a survivor sanctuary, we liken her to “THE HELM.” It will serve as our home base where you can always connect with TAPS staff should you need any emotional support.
When we reach each port, you'll be able to explore the islands. TAPS will also offer organized group shore excursions that will be announced closer to the cruise.

The cruise takes place from Monday, September 2 to Monday, September 9, 2024.

LODGING AND TRANSPORTATION
You'll need to cover the cost of your transportation to and from Seattle, Washington. If flying in the day of departure, please plan to arrive at the airport by 12 p.m. and schedule your departure flight after 12 p.m. the day the ship returns. We highly encourage arrival the night before and will have a hotel option at a group rate if you would like to join TAPS staff. Any flight delays could mean missing the ship.
All staterooms come with two twins that can be converted to a queen bed, private bathroom, phone, closed-circuit television, mini bar and hair dryers.
