Volunteer with TAPS

Volunteerism is at the very foundation of TAPS. In 2023, nearly 5,000 volunteers donated their time and talent to support the TAPS mission, providing more than 71,000 hours of support. In addition to their generosity, more than 1,100 Military Mentors volunteered 60,000 hours supporting survivors. Every program across the organization benefits from the selfless service of people like you who share our mission of caring for the families of America's fallen military heroes.

  • "It's rewarding to be able to give back to families. TAPS has made volunteering a welcoming, smooth, easy, and rewarding experience." - Katherine
  • "This was the most fun and most fulfilling volunteer activity I've ever participated in. I've never been a part of anything this incredible before." - TAPS Volunteer
  • "I signed up as a volunteer thinking I'd be helping out a little bit. I had no idea how much I'd get in return." - Lenzy
