Judith Mathewson, PhD, LMFT, LPC
Dr. Mathewson has been a volunteer with TAPS since its beginning in 1994. She established the Good Grief Camp and volunteered for over 25 years at both National and Regional Seminars. Judy is a Licensed Professional Counselor in Arkansas and Alaska, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in Florida and Arkansas and Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Florida. She received her Master's degree in Special Education from Emporia State University, in Counseling and Guidance (school counseling) from University of Alaska Anchorage and Doctor of Philosophy from Barry University, Miami Shores, Florida. She served as an educator, counselor, and as a United States Air Force and Air National Guard Veteran. Her areas of expertise are with children, teens, women, Veterans, and families, with relationship issues, grief, anxiety and depression, trauma and group work.
