The Colorado Celebrity Classic hosted its 14th Annual Saluting Our Fallen Heroes Dinner & Songwriters Show on Saturday, June 16, 2018 at the Grove Family Ranch in Centennial, Colorado.
About 518 guests enjoyed an evening of fun and music and raised more than $330,000 for TAPS.
Headliner Pam Tillis, a two-time Grammy and Country Music Award winner and daughter of country music legend, Mel Tillis, was joined with a pair of Nashville’s most accomplished songwriters: Billy Montana and Frank Myers. Talented artists, Jimmy Nichols, and Pam’s husband, Matt Spicher, rounded-out the show of world-class entertainment. It was really good.
The party started with Tony David and Wildefire for toe-tappin’ tunes during dinner. The extraordinary Coors Cowboys “Chuckwagon Crew” authentically prepared and served a western heritage dinner of pit-roasted prime rib – with all the fixin’s.
The Live Auction, headed by volunteer extraordinaire, Liza Patton, delivered exciting packages that included private House Concerts with the songwriters, a Nashville Insiders Trip, an Elite Colorado Golf Experience, other trips and tours, and special “Bucket List” surprises. Auctioneer Roger Sierens set the fast pace.
The Colorado Celebrity Classic is made possible by our amazing volunteers and the 125+ private companies and individuals who donate products and services, and our Executive Committee, led by Directors Lynne and Bo Cottrell.
Since our inaugural event in 2005, the Colorado Celebrity Classic has donated more than $4 million to the Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors – all from the generosity of our supporters and sponsors. Your donations will help fund TAPS programs and survivors -especially those in Colorado such as the Regional Survivor Seminar and Good Grief Camp for Young Survivors.
